FIELD TRIPS
Lake Norman Homeschool Adventures is just that - lots of fun, memorable adventures. Together we explore and discover all of the wonderful opportunities our community offers Homeschool Families. From the NC Zoo to the local fire department, we aim to have fun while creating an educational experience for our kids. We try to keep the driving distance within an hour of the Lake Norman area.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
We believe in raising kids who serve others, help those less fortunate, and give back to the community, so we aim to do a couple community service projects each year. In past years, we've raised money to buy every officer in Mooresville a cup of Clutch Coffee and toured the Police Department, We packed Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and we visited the Kannapolis Fire Department and presented the fire fighters with a gift of gratitude that the kids put together to show our respect and appreciation.
CELEBRATIONS
LKN Homeschool Adventures is all about celebrating! We love creating special memories for our kids. Each year we throw an EPIC Fall Festival in October and an end of year Summer Pool Bash in May. The cost of registration goes to cover these two big events. We also have smaller holiday parties for Valentine's Day & Christmas.
